Who we support

Flexible residential support that evolves in line with changing needs.

We offer residential nursing support for people with Huntington’s Disease. We regularly review and revise care plans, allowing our support to evolve as needs change. Our team are trained to support all aspects of Huntington’s, supporting cognitive and executive functioning difficulties (memory, attention skills, information processing, social, problem-solving and planning difficulties), physical needs (muscle and mobility needs) and behavioural/emotional needs (depression, aggression, irritability).

Our team can help to monitor medication, and arrange access to occupational therapy and aids to help make life more comfortable.

Supporting people with Acquired Brain Injury to rehabilitate and re-establish skills.

We offer residential support, rehabilitation and progressive care for people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). No two brain injuries are the same, which is why our care is tailored to meet the needs of the individual. We offer physical, cognitive, social and behavioural support to enable people to achieve their goals, from the re-establishing of skills to community participation, and returning to work/activities.

We are able to support individuals who have complex needs as a result of a brain injury, including those caused by trauma, stroke/aneurysms, illnesses such as meningitis or tumours, hypoxia, encephalitis. As part of this, we support physical and mobility needs, as well as associated conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy.

Supporting people with disabilities to maximise their quality of life.

For people with physical disabilities or profound and multiple disabilities, our residential care homes offer round-the-clock care and support. As with all of the services offered by Holmleigh Care, we get to know people’s individual needs and aspirations to ensure that the support we provide helps people to achieve their personal goals.

Our team and services are fully equipped and trained to meet different physical and communication needs, including manual handling equipment, as well as support with feeding and personal care

Compassionate residential mental health support that builds resilience and independence.

Our residential nursing and neurological team provide round-the-clock support for people with moderate or severe mental health issues, including those who might be in crisis.

We work with people to understand their needs and deliver support to suit. We work closely with people to build on their strengths, skills and resilience, with the goal of being able to self-manage their condition and move to more independent living.

By providing access to meals, opportunities to socialise, and round-the-clock therapeutic support, the people we support can remain in a safe and supportive environment that allows them to focus on gaining independence and self-confidence.
