Home care, the Holmleigh way.

Holmleigh Care also offers home care throughout Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon, supporting people from the comfort of their own homes.

Flexible home care, in familiar surroundings.

We believe that everybody should be able to live happily, comfortably and independently wherever they choose to call home. Our practical support is based on individual needs, allowing our clients and their families to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Care is fully flexible depending on need – ranging from a telephone call or short visit, to 24-hour support.

Holmliegh’s home care team provides care at home for adults of all ages with a variety of care needs, including those with age-related issues, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, complex and challenging behaviour and sensory impairment.

Who we support

Keeping elderly people safe and happy at home, for longer.

Our home care team offers tailored, flexible and cost-effective care that enables people to remain in their own home, in familiar surroundings, for as long as possible. For people with dementia, who may find a change of routine and environment stressful, home care can be an ideal solution.

We can tailor our support to fit, from full-time care, help with personal care, shopping and domestic tasks, or a little company and a friendly visit, our team is here to help you or your loved one to live happily and independently at home.

Supporting people with learning disabilities to live independently, from the comfort of home.

Our home care team supports people with a wide range of learning disabilities to live an active and fulfilling lifestyle, from the comfort of their own home. From support with daily living tasks to shopping, college, work or hobbies, our team can provide support tailored to each person’s needs.

Our staff teams undertake specialist learning disability training to ensure that we provide exceptional care that meets the specific needs of everyone that we support.

Compassionate support from the comfort of home, for people with mental health needs.

We support people with a range of mild, moderate, or severe mental health issues, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder, to live safely in their own homes. For families, this support can provide the reassurance that help will be on hand when needed.

We focus on helping people to remain active and independent while maintaining their freedom. Our support fits around existing routines and is based on individual needs, from providing company or support with medication to re-establishing routines and skills and building self-esteem and motivation.

Supporting people with disabilities to live independently, safely and comfortably at home.

The support we provide for people with physical disabilities is fully tailored to meet each person’s particular needs, personal goals, and lifestyle. Ultimately, our support is designed to enable people to achieve quality of life, comfort, and safety within their own homes. This can include support with day-to-day tasks, or assistance with going out socially as well as for work/education.

Our team is fully trained to meet different physical and communication needs, including manual handling equipment, as well as support with feeding and personal care.

When familiarity is important, we offer home care for people with sensory impairments.

For many people with sensory impairments, especially those who are blind or partially sighted, being able to stay at home, in familiar surroundings, is very important. Our home care team can support people with sensory impairments (affecting their sight, hearing, or both senses at once) to live independently at home.

We offer a range of services, providing support with daily living, as well as supporting any associated difficulties in communicating, access to information, and mobility. We also work hard to build strong bonds with the people that we support, helping to avoid social isolation and offer emotional as well as practical support.
