Salary: £10.50ph

Hours: 12-hour shifts preferred, but may be negotiable to 6 hour shifts


Location :Pirton, Wadborough WR8 9EF – Transport Required due to rural location

About the Company:

At Pirton Grange we support people who require support with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.

You will encourage the individuals to make their own day to day decisions and follow their interests. When the people we support need assistance, you will encourage them and promote their independence, enabling them to further develop their life skills.

Holmleigh care are a Supported Living and residential services to adults with autism & learning disabilities. What we need from you:

As a Support Worker you will be supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Behaviours of concern, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Epilepsy and Complex Needs.

Ensuring all clients live a good life that focuses on choice, Independence and equal opportunity is integral to our ethos and all those we support whether this be within our residential homes or supported living services

Skills and Experience required:


  • A genuine desire to promote an individual’s independence and provide person centred care
  • Innovative and forward thinking
  • Excellent communication skills are required, as well as excellent listening skills, as you will be supporting people who use various methods of communication
  • Good listening skills
  • Knowledge/experience/desire to support individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or Challenging Behaviour
  • Good basic comprehension of English language including basic literacy and numerical skills i.e., GCSE level or equivalent
  • Ongoing commitment to own personal development and training


  • Level 2/3 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • A relevant First Aid and/or Food Hygiene Certificate

All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check
