For over 20 years Holmleigh Care has provided varying levels of support for adults in residential care; supported living as well as providing additional help within the individual’s own homes. The main purpose of the Support Worker is to provide a high quality, reliable support service. Personalised to the needs of each individual in line with their goals and aspirations as detailed within their support plan. Safely promoting and encouraging independence, choice and community inclusion. Always respecting that you are supporting the person within their own environment.
In this role, you may be supporting people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Behaviours of concern, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Epilepsy and Complex Needs.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated, energetic people person who is keen to learn, happy to assist with personal care, and wants to help service users achieve their goals and be able to remain calm in difficult situations.
Work is on a rota system over 7 days and shifts can vary depending on service user need. You will need to be a flexible employee as you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as per the rota.
Drivers are preferred for this role as our individuals enjoy going out to achieve new daily goals and attend various activities.
