Quality care from the comfort of home.

Our team provides the support needed to continue to live well while maintaining the independence of living at home.

We provide people with high-quality, compassionate support from the comfort of their own homes.

Holmleigh’s home care service is dedicated to maintaining independence, respect, and quality of life for everyone that we support, by helping them to stay safe and comfortable in the place that they know best.

We provide totally flexible care and support – ranging from a telephone reminder to ensure medication is taken or to check everything is okay, through to 24-hour support which can include anything from personal care and support with household tasks, to help to get out and about.

The needs of the people that we support are at the heart of our home care service, ensuring that the care and support we provide meets their needs, abilities, and preferences and fits in with their lifestyle.

More about home care

What services do you offer?

  • Our team of experienced carers can provide support with day-to-day tasks and personal care including washing, bathing, showering and getting dressed.
  • Our carers are fully trained in administering medication and available to assist as required, including reminder calls and collecting prescriptions.
  • Carers can support with shopping, meal preparation and household tasks, as well as helping to ensure that people get the nutrition they need to stary healthy.
  • We never underestimate the value of companionship. Our carers are happy to pop in and have a chat, to help reduce loneliness and proviide company.

How is support funded?

Please contact your local Social Services team, who will be able to carry out a needs assessment and advise you about the financial support that may be available to you. Each person’s home care package is designed around their specific needs, which means that the cost of care can vary. For more information on funding, visit You’re also welcome to contact our offices and discuss your needs with a member of our team, who will be happy to offer advice and support.

Who is home care for?

Home care allows people to stay in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, with support tailored to their needs. Ideal for anything from full-time care to just a few hours of assistance with tasks you find tough or to enjoy some company, our fully trained, experienced home care staff will be there to help.

For people with dementia or sight impairments, moving to a new environment can be especially daunting. Being able to stay at home, with support when required, allows people to maintain their independence.

Continuity of care

We believe that the continuity of staff is vital to our clients, helping to build relationships, rapport and trust. That is why we initially send in a small team of two or three members of staff to get to know each person’s needs and daily routine. This means that they will still see someone that they are familiar with, even if one of the regular carers is on holiday or ill.
